Anaemia
- Identify & understand the common clinical signs and symptoms of anaemia across different severity levels and types.
- Describe the normal process of erythropoiesis and the influence that key organs and factors have on it.
- Classify anaemia based on clinical features and laboratory results.
- Select and interpret appropriate laboratory investigations for diagnosing anaemia.
- Understand mechanisms behind common types of anaemia and their differentials.
- Identify treatment strategies for common anaemias and where to find appropriate guidelines.
- Develop a structured approach to identifying and treating anaemia based on its aetiology and severity.
- Apply the above to real-world clinical scenarios through case-based discussions.
