Position Title: Interim Secretary, Education Committee
Reports to: Chair of the Education Committee, College of Medical Associate Professionals (CMAPs)
Location: Remote/Virtual
Duration: Temporary position covering sick leave (duration to be confirmed)
Time Commitment
- Fortnightly Meetings: Attend and support a 1-hour virtual committee meeting.
- Ongoing Tasks: Approx. 4 hours per week, depending on workload and committee activities.

The College of Medical Associate Professionals (CMAPs) is the professional body dedicated to representing, supporting, and advocating for Medical Associate Professionals (MAPs), including Physician Associates and Anaesthesia Associates. We strive to advance the profession, champion education and professional development, and empower MAPs to achieve excellence in practice.

Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting Administration: Prepare and distribute agendas for EC meetings, ensuring all key topics are addressed.
- Minute-Taking: Accurately record meeting minutes and circulate them to committee members.
- Official Communications: Assist in drafting and reviewing communications and publications for the EC.
- Web Platform Management: Liaise with CMAPs leadership to update and maintain the Education Committee’s section of the CMAPs website.
